National Pirogov Memorial Medical University of Vinnytsia (VNMU) offers profound and world class higher education. he long-term experience of training the students from all over the world has allowed the University to create a unique combination of academic programs and auxiliary services. VNMU possesses the status of higher educational establishment of the IV (highest) level in Ukraine.
The University participates in various international educational and training medical personnel programs. For active international cooperation the University was granted diplomas and awards.
The university has 12 scientific schools. Scientific research is carried out in three areas – “Maternal and Child Health Care”, “Treatment, Diagnosis and Prevention of Chronic Diseases of the Adult Population” and “Development and Implementation of New Drugs and Devices”. Also examines the organization of higher medical education.
Almost 1000 students united by the scientific student society take part in the research. Every year more than 40 of our students become prize-winners and winners of intercollegiate, intercollegiate, All-Ukrainian subject Olympiads and student scientific conferences.
